The Baptism

Today was a super Sabbath! I saw three Thai people get baptized today! There were two ladies and one man who were baptized by a Thai Pastor. I helped my dad video tape the baptismal service that was in the school’s swimming pool. The light was shining through the windows on the water, which looked really neat. We sang songs in Thai and English and praised the Lord together. The church members were all gathered around the pool singing hymns. It sounded nice. I have seen at least thirteen people get baptized here in Thailand in the two years I have lived here. I think that is really cool. I look forward to the day when I will get baptized.

For my blog readers:
  • What about you?
  • Have you been baptized?

Hi, Josh. What COOL pictures! I wish I could have seen it.

I was baptized when I was 14 in Penang, Malaysia. Pastor Lai baptized me. That has always cracked me up, because I suppose I could use some people's way of saying it to say "Pastor Lai baptized me into the Truth." Hah!

I'm glad you are posting again!

Josh,

Mr. JK & I are also glad to see that you're posting again. And we are really happy to hear about the Thai people following Jesus publicly through baptism. Thank you to you and your family for helping tell them about Jesus.

Mrs. Esther =)
